Buzzers

A Buzzer is an audio signaling device, which may be machine-driven, electromechanical, or the most common uses of buzzers consist of alarm devices, timers, train and confirmation of user input such as a mouse click or keystroke.

How Buzzers Works

The key function of Buzzers is to convert the Audio signal from a sound signal. Normally, buzzers are powered by Direct Current-voltage and used in timers, alarm devices, printers, alarms, computers, etc. According to the different designs of Buzzers, it can generate different sounds like alarm, music, bell & siren.

Twitters

A tweeter is a particularly designed speaker that is smaller in size compared to a woofer or normal speakers. It only replicates audio frequencies above a certain threshold, including, in some cases, sounds that human ears cannot hear but only sense. Because high frequencies are highly directional, tweeters disperse high-frequency sounds into the room so that the sounds are heard accurately. If the dispersion is too narrow, the listener has a limited amount of listening position options. If the dispersion is too wide, the sense of direction of where the sound is coming from is lost.

Types of Tweeters

  • Cone
  • Dome
  • Piezo
  • Ribbon
  • Electrostatic

Speakers

Speakers are such devices that convert electromagnetic waves into sound waves. The speakers receive audio input from a device. This input may be either in analog or digital form.

How it Works

In order to convert an electrical signal into an audible sound, speakers contain a permanent magnet and an electromagnet, Electromagnet is a metal coil that creates a magnetic field when an electric current flows through it. This coil behaves much like a normal (permanent) magnet, with one particularly handy property that is reversing the direction of the current. This causes flips in the poles of the magnet.
