Product Description
The five diodes of the DO-201AD, HER304 300V High Efficiency Rectifiers Diode Pack are used to rectify and shift the voltage of an alternating current to a direct current. The DO-201AD diode is a high-voltage, high-efficiency rectifier diode that operates at 300V. Battery chargers and switching power supplies both frequently use this diode. One-way semiconductor devices, or diodes, only permit current to travel in one direction. These diodes have two uses: they may stop current from flowing in the wrong direction and rectify alternating current to direct current. They are designed to be used in power electronics applications as well as solar applications. These rectifiers are perfect for sensor power supply and low-power applications. Diodes that convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) and enable a higher percentage of power to be transferred over longer distances are known as high-efficiency rectifiers. The anode and cathode, two ends of a conductor, are linked to the two ends of the diode.
