This DIP encoder IC has eighteen pins. Encoding the 12-bit data and sending it out through the output pins is its main purpose. The integrated oscillator in the IC makes it incredibly simple to operate. The IC can operate at a wide variety of voltages, from 2.4 V to 12 V. Usually, remote control systems make advantage of it. The HT12D decoder IC works better with this. Information with N address bits and 12–N data bits can be encoded using it. It is imperative that your decoder has the same address in order for them to communicate.
