The IC comes with an in-built Oscillator it is very easy to make this IC work. The IC is has a wide range of operating voltage from 2.4V to 12V. It is normally used for remote control systems. This is better works with HT12D decoder IC. It is capable of encoding information that consists of N address bits and 12-N data bits. It is very important that your decoder should also have this same address for them to talk to each other.
