MT3608 DC Voltage Regulator Module with USB
The MT3608 DC-DC converter IC serves as the foundation for the MT3608 DC voltage regulator. Depending on the position of the potentiometer, the module can step up and regulate a voltage from 2V to 24V. Here, a multi-turn potentiometer is employed, making it simple to adjust the output of the module to precisely the voltage required by the application. It is useful for powering various circuits that require input from a battery but are unable to do so due to the low battery voltage because the maximum output current can reach 2A. It utilizes a PWM buck function, which automatically adjusts the maximum duty cycle based on the load, and operates at a set frequency of 1.2 MHz. Excellent low-reflection and regulation qualities are present in it. Along with the thermal shutdown, this module has a built-in 4A current limit feature. For safety, built-in output short protection circuits are helpful. Although high-current diodes connected in series can be helpful in such circumstances, it lacks input reverse polarity protection. It has a 2V to 24V input voltage and is a high-frequency module.
