A general-purpose solder is used in the soldering of copper and copper alloys and/or ferrous-based alloys. This alloy offers satisfactory corrosion resistance properties and is generally used where temperature requirements are critical. The soldering bars are suitable for wave soldering and surface mount applications for electronic assemblers interested in implementing a lead-free process. A solder pot temperature of 255-265°C(491-509°F) is recommended.
