DHT 22/AM2302 Digital Temperature and Humidity Sensor
A high-performance digital temperature and humidity sensor with many uses that demand precise and dependable environmental monitoring is the DHT22, also called the AM2302. With an accuracy of ±0 point 5°C, this sensor can measure temperature in the range of -40°C to +80°C, and with ±2-5 percent RH, it can measure humidity in the range of 0-100 percent relative humidity. The DHT22/AM2302 sensor measures temperature using a thermistor and functions on the basis of capacitive humidity sensing. It can easily interface with microcontrollers and other digital systems thanks to its digital output, which includes well-known platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and others. The sensor uses a single-wire (one-wire) protocol for communication, which simplifies the wiring and requires fewer GPIO pins.
