Product Description

Bridge rectifiers are needed to convert AC to DC current. They can be used in circuit designs that require a DC voltage to be regulated or in designs that require a DC voltage to be smoothed. The diodes are connected to a voltage source and have their cathodes connected together. If the voltage source is greater than the forward voltage drop of the diodes, current will flow from the positive terminal of the voltage source to the negative terminal. If the voltage source is less than the forward voltage drop of the diodes, current will flow from the negative terminal of the voltage source to the positive terminal.
