The T1117-1.5 series consists of adjustable and fixed regulators that are user-friendly and equipped with protection against short circuits and thermal overloads. If the junction temperature at the sense point exceeds 165°C, the thermal safety circuitry will shut down the regulator. These devices are pin compatible with previous three-terminal adjustable regulators and provide a reduced dropout voltage, more precise reference tolerance, and greater reference stability with heat.
