The BC846S is a NPN epitaxial planar Silicon Transistor. It is used for applications requiring relatively low collector current, such as lamp drivers and neon tubes. High DC Current Gain: hFE = 800. Typical at (VCE = 5V, IC = 2 mA) and High Voltage: VCEO = 65. The device is designed for Audio Frequency General Purpose Amplifier. It is a good transistor. The BC846S is a three-terminal adjustable shunt regulator offering excellent temperature stability. It is a good transistor. The base voltage or saturation voltage of the transistor is 0.6V. Transition Frequency (fT) 100MHz.
