The general-purpose PNP transistor MPSA55S is offered in SOT-23 and other tiny package sizes. Because of its excellent qualities, the transistor may be applied to a wide range of general-purpose tasks, including switching and amplification. As a switch, it can operate at a load voltage of up to -60V and a current of up to -500mA. Another benefit of this transistor is that it can be utilized in low voltage applications due to its collector-emitter saturation voltage of only 0.25. However, because of its 50MHz transition frequency, it can be used for radio frequency applications below 50MHz.
