The MPSA56S is manufactured in a plastic SOT-23 case. When looking at the flat side with the leads pointed downward, the three leads emerging from the transistor are, from left to right, the emitter, base, and collector leads. Here is an image showing the pin diagram of this transistor.The transistor is having quite good characteristics due to which it can be used in variety of general purpose applications which can be either switching application or amplification. On the other hand the transition frequency of 50MHz makes it suitable for RF applications under 50MHz.
