74HC174 Hex D-type Flip-Flop with Reset SMD IC
The 74HC174 is a Hex D-type Flip-Flop with Reset, designed as an SMD (Surface Mount Device) IC. This component features six independent D-type flip-flops, each with its own data input (D), a clock input (CP), and an active-low reset (R). The device is commonly used in electronic circuits that require data storage, synchronization, and edge-triggered operations. When a positive edge is detected on the clock input, the state present at each data input (D) is transferred to the corresponding Q output, storing the data until the next clock pulse. The active-low reset allows for asynchronous clearing of all outputs; when this input is asserted, all Q outputs are driven low regardless of the clock state. This function is useful for initializing or resetting the stored data in specific applications
