This is an all-in-one IC. It is applied to audio signal visualization. This IC is capable of driving both Dot Matrix LEDs and 10-segment bar LEDs. Based on the analog input voltage of the audio stream, it can regulate (turn on or off) ten LED lights. This integrated circuit has a precise ten-step voltage divider and an adjustable voltage reference. Applying the LM3914 is quite simple. The use of microcontrollers and programming is eliminated with this IC. Additionally, it requires less circuitry to control 10 LEDs.
