This is a zero-crossing TRIAC driver Optocoupler or Opto-isolator IC. This is an electronic component that transfers electrical signals between two isolated circuits by using light. Since the output is driven by a TRIAC we can drive loads up to 400V. The TRIAC can conduct in both directions hence controlling AC loads will not be a problem.
